FAQS About Ceramica Arthouse Workshops
Are these workshops for all ages?
Most of our workshops or presentations are designed to be informative and have a hands-on counterpart to them. Participants need to make the call whether younger participants would find the presentation part of interest, though all topics will be family friendly.
What is the format for these workshops and presentations?
Most workshops will begin with a guest speaker who is an expert in a field that is central to the workshop topic, followed by a hands-on component inspired by the presentation. Workshops will typically consist of 30–60-minute presentations, followed by 1-hour hands-on activity. All non-ceramic works made during the workshop can be taken home immediately, and ceramic work will be fired and ready for pickup at a later date.
How do we sign up for these special workshops or presentations?
We will be posting these special events online and social media platforms. We will also send out emails to our email list, so our regulars will be the first to know about these opportunities. We will be working on ceramica membership oppportunities that will come with additional perks to attend such workshops.
How do I know which workshops will be at Ceramica and which will be held at Parched Earth Pottery Studios?
Parched Earth Pottery will host primarily clay-centric workshops as well as extended classes or private lessons for those participants wishing to go deeper into the art form. Ceramica will feature one-off workshops and vary more broadly in media and method.
